You are bidding on a 1997 Camaro SS 30th Anniversary Edition. This is one of 73 built by SLP with Automatic Transmission and T-Tops as documented at SLP. If you don’t know who SLP is (and you should) they are Street Legal Performance in Toms River NJ. They are building factory super cars for GM and are the modern Yenko or Baldwin Motion of the new generation of muscle and performance cars. You have to know your stuff if a major manufacturer is sending their cars to them to special editions! This Camaro is very nice and ready to go to shows or the track. SLP said the build # on this car is 770. It contained the 30th Anniversary Package, which consisted of a Ram Air Hood, Special Air Cleaner Assembly, Special Wheels and Tires, Performance Exhaust System, and Graphics. They also told me this car has the Level II Suspension Package, SS Floor Mats, Oil Cooler, and Performance Torsion. The car has a couple owner added performance enhancements. Non-SLP parts were a set of Edelbrock Headers and Professional Productions Power 80mm Throttle Body. This car has a lot of power and scoots down the road well. The body is clean with no real blemishes and the white leather interior is exceptionally clean. It has a couple minor needs: Drivers side power window switch cluster is loose and the power drivers seat switches are missing the plastic knobs. The seat works fine. Typical stuff for an 11 year old car. The rest of the interior is drop dead gorgeous and looks like its from a car with only 20,000 miles. The BFGoodrich G-Force T/A tires are like new. 2009.07.23 Ebay Toms River, NJ, United States For sale is a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS. 1997 was the last year for the SLP SS. In 1997 only around 3000 of these cars were produced with less than 1000 equipped with T-Tops. This car is garage kept, is very clean and drives and rides excellent. I have owned this car since 2002 without any issues and the new owner can expect the same. This car is a true anniversary edition car. The anniversary edition was only availible in white with hugger orange stripes. The car has a LT-1 engine with automatic transmission, white leather interior with NO rips or tears, and all power options. As you can see from the pictures, this car is in excellent condition and the new owner will not be dissapionted. This is the first thing I have ever sold on E-Bay so as to aviod any misunderstandings I am disclosing upfront the ONLY two issues with this car. First, the air conditioning has started to blow warm and seems to need a charge. Second, the car has developed a small oil leak which my mechanic says is a timing cover gasket. The car has no warranty and is sold as-is so I want to let any buyers know about these two issues. The price I am willing to accept for this car easily makes up for the couple of dollars needed to make this car perfect. You will not find a nicer anniversary SS anywhere near this price. NADA retail is $13!650.00 however I am pricing this car to sell quickly with NO RESERVE!!! This car WILL BE SOLD!!!
