Car Notes
2009.05.14 Ebay

Swansboro, NC, United States

Up for sale is my 1997 30th Anniversary Edition Chevrolet Camano SS. This car is very rare to begin with, before the performance modification. I no longer use this car, as I have stopped racing all together. It was an amazing car, but it just sits around now and needs to go to someone who will appreciate it for what it is--a ridiculously strong, reliable, street legal muscle car.

Here's the rundown:

Performance Modifications:

1. LT1 Block/LT4 Heads (High strength bolts and hardware during rebuild.)

2. Edelbrock/BBK LT4 Intake and 58mm Throttle Body.

3. Arizona Speed Intake (goes under the front bumper, very good flow! Sounds GREAT!)

4. Trick Flow Intake Elbow (Replaces stock unit on TB, better flow)

5. High Flow Fuel Pump / Injectors

6. Comp Cams Camshaft/Lifters/Valve Springs (.565 IN .595 EX .006 DUR) (This is a HUGE CAM.)

7. Spohn Performance Adjustable Torque Arm (eliminates Wheel hop, increases traction)

8. BMR Subframe connector (keeps frame from twisting during launches)

9. 460LE Auto Transmission has a 4000 RPM Stall, shift kit and is set up for racing.

10. MSD Distributor/Coil/Plug Wires

11. Hooker Headers (w/o Catalytic Converters)

12. Quick Time 3” Electric Cutouts mounted to FlowTech Cutouts (switch is on dash near shifter)

13. MEGS 4” exhaust tips

14. SJM ABS Delete Kit (Hubs and all ABS parts included.)

15. Autometer C2 Transmission Temp gauge with 3 gauge pod (looks factory, glows blue.)

16. SLP Brake line locks (locks the front brakes, allowing you to burn out better to head tires)

17. Dyno tuned at Carolina Auto Masters in Durham, NC for Nitrous Oxide at 502HP and 581TQ.

18. 2000 Camaro SS Wheels (Look great, clean and wide.)

19. Meziere Enterprises Electric Water Pump (cools engine w/o losing power)

20. Large radiator out of a Chevy Diesel (This thing never runs hot! EVER!)

21. Transmission Cooler, mounted to the front of said Radiator (Needed for hard launches)

22. A/C Delete pulley, but all A/C components are included.

I'm very honest, so here's the rundown of what's wrong with the car:

(1) Needs tires. Nitto NT555R Drag Radials are what I run, and they hook up very, very well.

(2) Right outer tie rod and an alignment. The part itself is inexpensive, $20 bucks and a $40 alignment.

The interior is white leather; it looks good for its age. The audio is the premium package, and it is stock with the 10 disk changer in the hatch. The dash area has one crack, as most decade old vehicles tend to have. Nothing that detracts from its beauty.

This car, a standard 30th AE Camaro SS, is worth the asking price, easy! This is a very low mileage (66K) Camaro that is far, far from stock! Why buy a plain Z28 or SS when you can have most of the work done for you? This car is worth well over what I’m asking for it, as the motor and performance work are worth the asking price alone!
