Car Notes
2008.04.21 Ebay

Merrick, New York, United States

This is an SS clone. This is an original B4C car. 1 of only 29 burgundy automatic B4C's produced. It is "not" an original factory SS, nor do I imply it to be one. It does not have the WU8 option code! Chevy never made any monterey maroon SS cars in 2002. I purchased a brand new "factory" SS Hood from SLP Engineering, the exact same hood that came on factory SS's. The rear SS spoiler is a factory piece, but was purchased used, as they are no longer available. The "third" LED brake light in the spoiler is brand new from SLP. Both the hood and the rear spoiler were professionally painted to match the existing color. Grille is an SLP piece, gloss black. Also installed are brand new "factory replica" ZR1 wheels with new 275/40-17 Firestone Firehawk Wideoval tires. Exhaust is a Corsa cat-back, quad tips. Rear "Berger" panel painted satin black. I also have the original maroon panel. The door panels were also changed to the "black leather" panels. I also have the original "cloth" panels. All SS emblems are genuine Chevrolet. I have all of the original parts, if one wanted to return car back to it's original B4C status. (Hopefully the body shop still has my original hood). That being said, here's a rare chance to own a low mileage B4C Camaro. The car spent the first 5800 miles of its life in Virginia. I don't know who the "original" owner was. I purchased the car from a reputable dealer in Pennsylvania, who acquired the car at auction. No police equipment was ever mounted. No holes anywhere. No antenna's or lightbar was ever mounted. No decals. Condition of car is as one would expect of a 6 year old car with 8500 miles. If you are looking for a "Showroom New, Garage Queen", this is not your car. You need to buy a new car from Chevrolet. The undercarriage is rust free. There are a very few minor scratches, that won't show up in photo's. Paint is original. There is some mild "road rash" behind each wheel and on the lower front facia. They are easily covered up and become invisible when waxed. There is slight carpet wear to the right of the gas pedal, from somebody's large shoe? Other than that, the interior is spotless. Seats are in perfect condition. The original "snowflake" 16" rims, not chrome, have brand new Bridgestone RE960AS Pole Position Tires mounted on them. I also installed a SLP Air Filter Lid and a Blackwing Filter. As you can see, I've only put about 2500 miles on the car. It runs, shifts, and drives perfectly. It has been driven exclusively by me, and I'm 52. Computer has been re-flashed with Preditor, which can be returned to stock program. I also have a copy of the Pennsylvania Title. Photo's show car before and after, it is now in SS trim. I've tried to descibe this car to the best of my ability. Please feel free to ask questions. I reserve the right to end this auction early as car is also for sale locally. Please, serious bidders only. I've lowered my price, to reflect the current market. I'm not interested in any trades. Price is firm, no low ball offers please! Thanks for looking....... This is a fixed roof car. Car does not have T-Tops!!!!!!!!!!!
