Car Notes
2007.10.09 Ebay

Dearborn Heights, Michigan, United States

I have up for sale a Pewter 1999 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This car is in mint condition and is one of the best looking 99 SS's around. The car has right around 78,500 miles on it. I bought this car because I ahve another 99 Camaro that is strictly a race car and this car was my cruising car. I have had it for about 6 months and that is about it. I am getting married soon so I need to sell it. A little about the car, the body has around 78,500 on it but the motor is new this year. I replaced it at the beginning of spring along with the trans. The motor and trans have about 5500 easy miles on them. Again this is not a track car, just a fun street car. The motor was built by LME in texas. It is a 347LS1, Wiseco 3.905 pistons, CA Dura moly rings, stock rods and crank, ARP rod bolts, Federal Mogul main bearings, Clevite rod bearings, Dura Bond cam bearings, Patriot stage 3 heads 2.055/1.57 59CC 11.3:1 compression, Comp Cam 238/244 .605/.612 110 LSA. There is a K&N FIPK kit on the car also. This is the orginal motor out of the car, the motor was not swapped, just redone. The trans was redone also at the time of the motor swap. The trans is a 4l65e trans with Redline race clutches, shift kit, and a corvette dervo. The car was dynoed and tuned by Speed Inc in Chicago. I also have a Yank 4000 stall converter in the car which makes the car very fun to drive. You won't want to drive a 6 speed after driving this car. I also have a new poly tranny mount on the car as well as dual B&M tranny coolers and a Derale deep tranny pan with coolings tubes. It has a SLP loudmouth exhaust with different tailpipes for a deep exhaust tone. It has Mac midlength headers and I have cats that you can slip in line with the exhaust. They are very easy to change out, just 2 clamps and that is it, so you can either runs the cats or the straight pipes, it is a little lounder with the straight pipes plus Michigan doesn't have emissions testing. I also have an Energy Suspension poly torque arm mount on the car. I replaced these mounts when I had the motor and trans out. As for the wheels, they are chrome SS wheels, 17x9's in the front with Kuhmo 275/40/ZR17's at about 60% tread and 17x11's out back with Mickey Thompson drag radial 315/40/17's at about 90% tread. I just bought the rear's so they are like new. I also hvae a dual gauge pod in the car with a fuel pressure and trans temp gauge. The car does have Kenny Brown sub frame connectors. The car also has an Eibach prokit on it for a little lower stance. There is a light tint on the rear hatch window and side windows. I also put a T/A shift know because I like this better than the stock shift knob plus it matches the interior. The car put down 388 rwhp on a Mustang dyno when they were tuning it and 377 torque. that is pretty good for a heads and cam street car. I have never taken it to the track and do not plan on it. The brakes are in very good condition and I just changed the plugs and oil after the tune was done on the car. I only run Mobil One in my Camaro's. The car does have charcoal interior and is in mint condition, no rips or tears or burn marks as well as having t-tops, a/c, cd player and power everything. I don't want to sell this car but have no choice right now. I am putting a very low reserve on this car. I have put about $10,000 in the car this year and everything is like new. The car is clean and imaculate in and out. Also if you are an out of the state buyer, I do own a tranport company and will transport for a much lower rate than anybody else to help make this a sweater deal. This is a true SS and I have all receipts for everything that was purchased for this car. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you and happy bidding.
